  1. Worst moving company.

This company promised my shipment was being loaded on the truck and headed straight from PODS in Fresno to my new home in Texas! 7days now I’m told it will not be here for another 18 days! Worst experience of my life! Don’t use Keystone movers as all they are is a broker! Who will quote low. And then you’re cost will double! My recommendation is ask if they are a broker! If the answer is yes! RUN.

  2. Do not use this company.

Please for the love of god do not use this company. Use any other moving company. I’ve been looking on yelp to leave a review but this company doesn’t show up on yelp.

I’ll try to keep this short for those who will read this in the future. Everything about this company is shady. The day of my move they showed up 6 hours late, and after going over my quote and deciding to add on a few things I really didn’t want to leave behind, I ended up getting charged double the original quote price (originally was around $1,200, I ended up getting charged $3,165 before they would deliver my things). I was young and alone, and the movers extorted me for money saying they’d “take care of my things as long as I take care of them”, which scared me and it was late at night (because they were late showing up) so I had to go take money out to tip them each $25. They lost one of my most important boxes which had a few hundred dollars worth of electronics in it and they didn’t care, and after I spent days driving across the country and got home I had to wait over 4 weeks before they delivered my things. I kept calling and asking and they kept saying they were waiting for a truck, so my things sat in a warehouse for about a month.

So please, please choose any other company. I hope this one goes out of business.

  3. - 5 stars Do not use.

On 10/12/19 I reached out to several moving companies to provide quote for moving household goods across country. I was provided a quote from Shannon Mccaney for roughly $12,000 after telling the company I had over 18,000lbs of furniture and personal items. I moved a year earlier and this is what a professional moving company told me I had in inventory. I told them I did not have that kind of money to move my stuff since this was coming out of my pocket. Over the next 3 months Connected Van lines reached out to me on several occasions to try to persuade me to use their company.

On 12/21/19, the owner of the company (supposedly) reached out to me directly to provide the best deal he can personally give me. We agreed to a price of $7,840. The move was scheduled for 01/27/20. On January 27th at 1:00PM I called Connected Van lines to find out when the movers would be arriving and what form of payment they needed for the next payment. This is when I was told that the movers were coming from Las Vegas NV and should be there soon. I was also informed that I need a cashiers check made out to Oasis Moving and Storage. This is the first time I was told the movers were not from Connected Van lines. The movers from Oasis Moving and Storage did not show up until January 28th at 3PM. When they arrive they were driving a 26ft Enterprise box truck. I immediately informed them that the truck they were drive was not going to hold all of my stuff. This was considering a 53 ft, trailer delivered the stuff a year earlier. I told the driver again that I had at least 18,000 pounds of stuff. The movers worked until about 8PM that night and said they would return the next day (January 29th). The next day the movers returned and continued packing and moving items. The movers packed the truck up and took a load to another truck some distance away. Keep in mind that most of the truck was floor loaded and not packed completely. They came back and loaded up the truck again and took it away to another truck waiting somewhere else. The movers said they would be back the next day to finish packing the remaining items. January 30th 2020 the movers returned to pack the remaining items.

Upon completion of loading the remaining items the lead mover (Victor) informed me that I owe $22,000 dollars. Half was due immediately, the remaining due upon delivery. Needless to say I was shocked. Never in a million years would I have booked a move costing 22,000 dollars. This is when he (Victor) told me that we had gone over the original estimate of cubic feet. I was never told at any point before or during the move that I would owe more money considering this was what I thought to be a fixed price contract. I told the driver I am not paying that amount. First off, I do not have $11,000 dollars sitting around in my bank accounts. Second, I believe it is illegal to promise (via contract) to a set price and then change the terms of the contract. They now have all of my stuff somewhere and are in essence holding my stuff hostage. The lead mover (Victor) had his office call me directly. I spoke to Madeline with Oasis Moving and Storage who tried to strong arm more money out of me. She asked if I could pay $9,000 today and make $3000 dollar payments. As I explained to Madeline I do not have that kind of money. She wanted me to put it on credit cards or find a way to pay them the money I supposedly now owed them.

I continued to tell Madeline I do not have that kind of money. I do not have that kind of credit either. She continued to apply pressure saying that they can bring all my stuff back but that would cost me $9,000. As I explained to Madeline the only money I had was for the remaining balance for the move. She told me to write a check for the $2200 and then write a postdated check for another amount. I again explained to Madeline I do not have the amount in excess of the stated contract. Madeline told me the movers are not leaving the house until they get their money.

Under immense pressure and duress I signed the moving documents considering I had other people moving in the very next day. Madeline said she would take a posted dated check as form of payment. She told me to postdate it for 02/15/20. As I write this complaint (02/1/20) Oasis moving and storage has tried to cash a 2000 dollars posted check. The actions of both companies involved in the transaction amount to extortion under duress and fraud. This is a classic Mafia style shakedown. Consumer protection needs to be enforces and these companies need to be shut down. I am not the only person they have committed this type of action against. Multiple complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau and nothing has been done to stop these companies from ripping off people. If I had known Oasis Moving and Storage was being used at all I would have never contracted with Connected Van Lines. The reviews of Oasis Moving and Storage on this website depict this company as criminal.

  4. Do not Use!

I recently relocated from AZ to WA and against all advice, used a broker company due to the good quote they gave me (US Standard Moving Storage Corp). They sent out movers from Oasis, who promptly stated that my furniture was too bulky and that an extra fee of $2100 was needed before they would transport it. I was allowed to pay half on the spot and the rest later. Being in a time rush I paid them. I only received my furniture 17 days later, when the driver called me up on New Years Eve and stated they were coming! When they arrived, another persons stuff (headed for Spokane, WA) had to be offloaded onto my driveway in order to get to mine. I incurred a lot of damage to my furniture. Most of my furniture was very new, and high end. The drivers also left a package of the other peoples things in my garage. After unpacking fully, I realized I was missing stuff. I had filled out a claim beforehand from all the damage, and was told that because I already filled out a claim there was nothing they could do. They were not interested in the other persons belongings in my garage (Spokane delivery). This has been the worst move I have ever experienced in my life, and I have moved many times. Avoid both companies. I do NOT recommend.

  5. Den of Thieves And Extortionists.

We contacted Broker (Connected Van Lines) for a move from AZ to FL. After paying a binding contract fee, broker told me who the mover would be (Oasis Moving and Storage based in Nevada) (OMS) and I was told that they were a 5 star mover. Almost immediately after electronically signing the agreement, I was told that the shipper wanted more money. After 7 or 8 changes, we finally got the final estimate, so we thought. When the driver came to the house, he stepped one foot inside and said "This is a full pack, I want $4000 more". I told him he wasn't going to get it and he called the Broker and made some kind of deal with him. We agreed to a 1/2 pack, at the time of signing and my wife spent weeks packing crystal and glass items. The truck was finally packed and left.

We flew out to FL the next day expecting the truck to show up around the weekend. It didn't. I called the Broker and asked when they expected the truck to show up, and the answer I got for the next 3 weeks was we can't reach the driver, he must be sleeping. 23 days after the truck left, it finally arrived at 6 o'clock at night. When we signed, we were told that it would take 5-7 days to get here. When I called to find out where it was they said to me "well we have 21 days to get there”.

What we found out was they (OMS) took our trailer to NV, emptied it, put our things into a storage trailer and waited until they had another run to make to FL.When it finally arrived, and they opened the door, boxes started to fall out. The boxes we bought were brand new boxes, these boxes were old, most of them crushed and 90% had been opened and resealed. I know this because when we sealed the boxes, I had everyone write across the tape at the slit as to where they were going (kitchen, bed, etc). When sealed back up, the writing did not match.

We are still unpacking boxes and are looking at thousands of dollars of damage to crystal, glass, furniture, paintings, lost furniture and stolen work and gun tools. Thats right, lost furniture, never found it like they told us they would on delivery. We have found expensive crystal vases packed into a box with frying pans on top of them, my apple desktop computer packed with a cast iron fry pan. Lampshades ruined not to mention everything else.

Both the Broker and the Shipper have breached their contracts with us and I want reimbursement for the damage created by them. Both should loose their licenses and not be allowed to do this to anyone again. It is quite a racket.

In addition to the pictures of damaged items, I have also included pictures showing the condition of most of the boxes as we received them. Note the writing on the boxes “FRAGILE”, “VERY FRAGILE”, obviously they couldn’t read. OMS does not have their customers best interest at heart.

Significant damage was caused to the wood flooring at the house we moved from by OMS. I have been told by OMS that it was our responsibility to protect the floor and that it is in the contract that they are not responsible for damage. Well first of all, I never received the complete contract to read, only the part for electronically signing, and secondly if I knew that. I never would have hired them. The way that contract reads, is that OMS isn’t responsible for damage of any kind.

When I called OMS to mention the damage to the flooring, their Customer Service Rep. started dropping F-Bombs on me and said its in your contract. When we finally got the Claim Forms, submitted the damages, and got the response from Anthem Claim Management, one of the first things they say is “we are not an insurance company or a moving co. Our services have been retained by your moving company to adjust your claim for damaged or missing property”

BEWARE, this co. works directly with OMS and will offer you 60% of the TOTAL WEIGHT not value. For Example, if they deem that the damage by pictures that you send them is 300 lbs, you will be offered $0.60 per lb, or $18.00 for your total losses.

Save yourself a lot of anxiety and go elsewhere.

  6. Do Not Use This Company.

THIS COMPANY BROKE MY FURNITURE "STOLE" OR LOST MY THINGS AND TRIED TO EXTORT MORE MONEY FROM ME WORST COMPANY EVER THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS THEY ARE TERRIBLE THEY OPENED MY BOXES THEN TRIED TO RETAPE THEM HORRIBLY.

  7. Extortionists & thieves.

Do NOT hire them- they extorted me for over $2000 more than the original quote and held my belongings hostage for 16 days (was originally only a 4 hr move). They threatened to make me pay for storage when they were not delivering! 10 boxes have never shown up (which has cost me another couple thousand to replace ex: dishes, cutlery, cuisinart, pots, pans, etc - plus so many irreplaceable things - a sculpture I have had 19 yrs). Kathleen O'Shea is the most rude, awful manager- she must be a relative to still be employed there . They are doing so many illegal things - not sure who they pay to have it swept under the rug. This company should not be in business and the FEDS need to clean this up!

  8. Worst moving company ever.

Oasis Moving & Storage, Inc. was subcontracted by the company with which we signed our moving contract, American Standard Moving and Storage, who did not warn us they would be hiring Oasis. Neither American Standard nor Oasis ever followed up with us to let us know, for example, that delivery to us would be delayed by a week (they had billed us for expedited delivery). The customer service was incredibly rude, and acted insulted when we asked for an update on the status of our delayed delivery, and would not disclose any information. Practically, they hung up on us. Their truck broke along the way, and delivery got delayed further. When it finally took place, they would not accept payment via check or credit card even though they had never informed us that would be the case. They threatened to take our shipment back unless we’d provide cash immediately, so we had to walk with them to the bank. It was the most unpleasant experience, with a seriously unprofessional company. Never again will we be working with them.

  9. Washington to Texas.

Arrived 4 days late, costing me $900 in airfare, car rental and dog boarding,
then tried to more than double my price at loading. So they only took 25% of my stuff and left the rest despite the bid with photos and actual dimensions of my storage unit! Then at delivery demanded cash and an extra $350 to unload 400cf of boxes (no furniture as that was left behind in Washington) holding my boxes hostage!I live on a flat level lot with no steps whatsoever anywhere. Then I start to open boxes and several were opened and half full. Half my tools also missing from my toolbox. I'm still unpacking and stopped because I was so upset and ccx angry. I feel totally scammed and ripped of by this company. They are rude and don't give a crap about your stuff or screwing you out of more money. DO NOT HIRE THEM UNLESS YOU LIKE GETTING RIPPED OFF!

  10. Scam Alert.

Once you have paid advance and got the the quote..You should get yourself ready for a very eventful joyride of blackmailing and disappointment.Request for Refund if service not required well according to them there is no such thing. Pay double the original price or get lost. Furniture treated like garbadge bags. Movers according to them are people who take apart furniture not professionals.I can provide evidence for all what I have said .Please don't get scammed for the cheesy talk the do.

  11. Worst Ever! do Not Use!!

We hired a moving company and were "subcontracted" out to Oasis (without our knowledge). The quoted price of $1500 was increased by $1000 when the driver arrived to load the belongings. We used them because we had had no other choice and were in a time-sensitive situation. Driver was rude and unprofessional. The "professional movers" looked like they had been picked up off a street corner. Was given a delivery estimate of 3-8 days. Items showed up three weeks later. Boxes were damaged, had been opened and re-taped, items were missing and damaged. When we called the office to try to get an actual delivery estimate, Kathleen was beyond rude. DO NOT USE THEM! They prey on people and should be shut down!

  12. Moving.

I gave them a diposit they were supose to show up on a friday or sat they kept calling and saying they would beat my house in 3 hours they called me like 5 times they showed up late sunday there driver ran over my mail box and killed it there was only 1 man to load the stuff they took it to there warehouse in lv and kept it there for 2 weeks I moved from calif to nc when my stuff got here many things were broken and some thinkgs never got here I was quoted one amount and charged and extra $500 this is by far the worse company they are very dishonest and when you call there office they are rude.I would advice to look for someone else.

  13. Police had to be involved.

I had to involve the police/sheriffs to get my belongs. The authorities had to get involved after this company threaten me, harassed me, and blackmailed me after I gave them their final payment and forced me to try and give them extra cash in order for them to unload my belongings. They will find every excuse to not give you your things back, they will come up with penalties and extra charges and raise the cash price. If you don’t pay they take your money and belongs to their hub and force you into their trap to pay for extra storage and labor hours. Do not bother calling customer service or anyone elsewhere in their “office”, they will put you on hold and make it seem they want to help you, and then tell you they can’t do anything about it. The majority of my things were damaged and my Motorcyle broken. They will use the “claims” approach and only pay you 10 cent per pound, they wheel to in so they don’t pay you a dime.

  14. Tried to extort money and broke 1/2 our stuff, took 28 days!

-The movers showed up in street clothes and a rental van and tried to extort an additional $2500 to start the move. (I had literally less items than the quoted "binding estimate" inventory list)
-I was told it would be 3-7 days(going from CA to WA) They showed up 28 days later! Again, some independent contractor in street clothes who wanted cash instead of the agreed upon money order.
-At least half of our items were very damaged. Items wrapped in blankets had holes and rips due to such rough handling. Our specially wrapped TV with foam corners, even had the corner smashed and splintered. Our dining table corner looks like someone took a sledgehammer to it. Boxes crushed, all our particle board furniture(IKEA stuff) had every joint pulled apart.
Our belongings weren't even given the most basic care or concern!
-When I called their customer service manager Kathleen and nicely asked if she could help us since we weren't prepared or expecting to wait so long, she accused me of wanting to cut in line in front of others!
**Bottom line, I can't believe in America they can get away with being such a bad business!!**.

  15. Damaged Items Galore and Stolen Itemns.

Just had this company mover our household goods, clothing and furniture from the Los Angeles area to Jacksonville, FL. After a month of waiting we have broken furniture and electronics. The biggest thing was them stating they never received firearms from me and now they won't deliver them because they of course they don't have them. I have receipts for them and can prove they are mine if they ever surface in the wrong hands. Can't deliver they say, is that another way of saying they stole from me..
