This was the worst movie I have ever experienced in my professional life. I moved less than 1 mile from my original location with about 7000 pounds of furniture. I requested a full-service move and was guaranteed three movers with an adequate size truck. I was quoted a price of $115 per hour and an estimate of 7 to 8 hours. Two men showed up, one with physical limitations, without boxes or the ability to complete a full service move in one or two trips. they had a small vehicle and about eight hours into the move they called on two friends ( one a ups worker and the other unemployed) who were not professionals (in direct conflict with the contractual agreement). The movers caused multiple areas of damage in both locations, damaging walls, staircases, entry doorways, cracked photos, poor boxing, tape stuck to TV screens YOU NAME IT! I had to go buy my own boxes and look for boxes from local friends - I had to load my personal vehicle and drive between locations. I had a 5 yr who was worn out without a bed put up to sleep on. They left items in the YARD just forgot to take them. When the other movers showed up they had to be reminded to stop talking, stop playing our piano, and continue forward with the move. Ultimately, it took almost 20 hours and five trips back-and-forth and they tried to charge me $150 per hour which would have brought the total to nearly 2 1/2 times their original quote. When I spoke with them during and after the move they promised to send a team in to help with recovering the items left behind by the original movers, make the bed that the original movers refuse to rebuild, and find the items that were supposed to be in labeled boxes but were all thrown into the basement as they were trying to hurry away. Within two days After the move The customer service manager (Brandon) listed below notified me that I had a professional move and they would now refuse to make good on their promise to come in and correct the issues. They would not even agree to send me a claims form to recover the damages and they refused any further communication even after I sent photos. Thank God for American Express, they went right to bat for me with photos and clear evidence. I will never use this company again. I have requested repayment for the damages and I have documented my concerns with the Better Business Bureau as well as www.protectyourmove.com

Do yourself a favor AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. THEY DID NOTHING TO MAKE SURE THIS MOVE WAS A SUCCESS.

  2. Don't do it!!

They are absolutely awful! So unprofessional. They are friendly until they get your money and then just son't care! They told me it takes 2 weeks for my stuff to get from florida to NY, it took 2 months!! It would be ok if they actually talked and told me what was going on but no one would talk! They kept hanging up on me and my dad when we called to follow up. If you want to have a peaceful move don't go with these guys! Rude and unprofessional.

  3. High Quality Service.

Regions van lines is a professional moving company. The delivered my belongings one day before to their mentioned last date (it was about a month ago). They know how to coordinate and get the best. We wanted to shift some furniture and antique pieces to my uncle’s home in AZ. Due to some problem I couldn't go there. Regions van lines solved the difficulty then. My uncle lives on third floor and the movers delivered the valuables there going up through narrow stairs. They kept continuous contact with me. They really did a high quality service at prompt pace. My uncle received all valuables without any problem. He admired the mover and asked me to say his thanks to the owner of Regions van lines.

  4. Improve your service.

Do not promise a service you cannot provide. only concerned more about money and not customer satisfaction..would barely answer phone calls. would never return voicemails. extremely unprofessional staff: victoria, allan, mark, wendy..too many hidden charges. frequenr liars. what a nightmare hiring regions van lines.make sure you don't pay credit card, they charge you 4%more. makesure you have everything in writing, they don't keep their word. contact federal dept of transportation and movers rescue if you feel like you are being lied to.

  5. Not a moving company but a broker who has subcontractors.

This is the most unprofessional, unreliable company I have ever dealt with. I was lied to by 3 different people. They are not movers but brokers. There was the pickup company and the drop off the company as well as storage people in the middle. The communication from the administrative offices is unclear and incorrect. The actual men who did the move were helpful and communicative but Region itself is a company to stay away from. I had 5 broken antique tables and a frame of a painting destroyed on arrival. I have been trying to file a claim but the phone number I was given is a computer voice which tells you to file online and then you will be contacted. The online site is just advertisements for legal help. I could tell from the first day of pick up I had maybe made a mistake in hiring this company and it continued to get worse.  My original estimate was for $2000 and final payment was over $5000. Of course, this had to be paid before they delivered all my things, unbelievable. Do not use Region Van Lines!

  6. The best liars, thieves and extortionists in the business!

I hired this company to move my belongings from Florida to Nevada in November 2012.  Due to my legal background I asked many questions and the slick salesman lied through his teeth with each and every answer.  When the moving crew came, they were very nice and professional.  During the course of the day they told me many of the horror stories you see in the reviews of Regions.  At the end of the day, with the truck completely loaded with all of my wordly possessions, the price of the Binding Estimate doubled.  I had no choice but to sign the revised Estimate because I had to be at the airport to catch my flight back to Las Vegas. The next morning I called Tom who accused me of adding items after he gave me an estimate.  He was rude and hung up on me.  Next I tried Customer Service.  This department is just set up to harass customers, annoy them and frustrate them.  The bottom line was ..pay the new Binding Estimate or you will never see your belongings again..   I contacted every Florida bureau governing movers, to no avail.  I finally found Move Rescue, a company who specializes in getting rogue movers, such as Regions, to return goods held hostage to their rightful owners.  It finally took the Federal Department of Transportation to get my belongings back without having to pay addlitional funds. However, this took 8 months and many items had to be replaced. If each and every person who was scammed byRegions would report them to the Federal Department of Transportation they could be put out of business.  I am sure that every positiive review was written by Regions themselves.  Moving, in and of itself, is quite stressful.  Don't add to the stress by hiring these crooks.         .

  7. 5 Stars!!

I couldn't decide at first whether I should hire this mover or note. I was absolutely blind to guess of the crews who will work at our home or who will take care of my possessions. But removing all this rubbish indecision, I showed courage to hire regions. When I knocked them, their estimator made a thorough calculation for me. I am speechless to describe them. The manager Mr. Garcia controlled each necessary step related to moving. He didn't allow his crews to make disorder of my household stuffs. He was completely organized on his responsibility. It was certainly a big deal to me. All I could say they finished an assignment with no mistakes. They actually deserve 5 stars.

  8. Good going regions.

The best thing about region is that they are totally reliable. I had to move suddenly because of my job. I was kinda freaking out because I had to move in just 2 weeks. I called regions and their manager Mr. Garcia ensured me that it can be done. They gave me a reasonable price and the next day Eddie and Mauro arrived first thing in the morning. They packed and wrapped everything pretty well and helped set it up at my new place too. They are extremely hard working and also very polite. I’m glad I chose regions van lines for the task. Thanks!

  9. Scamm Scamm Scamm.

When i  first submitted my information to get quotes lisette was the FIRST person who contacted me was VERY polite and pleasing to speak to, like every sales person before they take your money. I was very happy she reached out to me as promptly as she did. Unfortunatley I wasn't able to speak to her right away because I was at work. but she would call me at least 2 times a day every day to follow up. Great customer service. Finally I found the time to actually speak to her to get numbers and see what great deal we can work out. We came to an aggrement I gave her a Deposit of $400.00 toward my bill. She was suppose to send me the written contract for me sign to continue this Deal once I gave her that Deposit that was the LAST time I heard from her. I called her about 10 times because I started to get annoyed that she said 5 minutes I was going to get it and I never got it. I started to get a funny feeling so I went right to the reviews of coarse it was NOTHING BUT BAD ONES!! immidiateley I got INFURIATED and started calling her again. NO ANSWER!! so I called the 1800 number I got a girl names ALEXIS! she said lisette had to leave in "EMERGENCY" that was BULL so w.e she sent me the contract and I still haven't signed anything then I call again this morning to cancel the move because they said u have up to 3 days before to cancel and again no answer on her line. so again I call the 1800 number got a man. Who he first said they were just talking about me because they were waiting on my AUTHORIZATION form to sign. I ask to speak to lisette since she was just talking about me and he said she wasn't comin in for the rest of the week. and hung up.. MORAL OF THE STORY THEY ARE SCAMSSSSSS!! SAVE THE HEADACHE..

  10. Thank you Regions Van Lines.

I want to thank Regions Van Lines especially Victoria for providing me with a great moving experience would use them again. They gave me a great discount after I did forget to mention some items on the list.   They did a great job!                                                                                                          .

  11. Stolen items, items were unwrapped and the company is extorisnist.

I wasn't going to say this, however the truth must be told and justice needs to prevail.  This company needs to be made to close its doors.  I finally went through all of my things and the storage didn't give me an inventory , however we had packed our items with double layers of towels (even though Victoria said we didn't have our items packed)  Most of our towels and bath cloths are gone, we don't have any glasses and alot of my office supplies are missing.  The sad thing is if you need help I will give you what you need if I have enough myself, but don't STEAL from me.  I don't have any patience with dishonesty or lying.  I don't know what the company ( I could never talk to the owner) thinks about the bad reviews, but someone is responsible for paying me for stolen and broken items.  I could tell   someone had unwrapped my items to see what I had.  This is uncalled for and Alan tells me I have created a lot of drama.  In the contract it stated they will keep you informed of the move.  They didn't call me one time, I had to call them.  Alan called me from his home on Sun. morning to ask me my address and I had told them a few days before when I called.  That was the only time I was called.  Like I said before, you have read all of the reviews.  I believe the company wrote the good reviews or paid someone to.  If you want to trust this company, it is your business.

  12. Still don't have my stuff.

I hired Regions to move my boxes from Fort Mill SC to Las Vegas NV.  I was told since I had such a small amount it would be $1300.  When I called Lizette back and gave her a more accurate count of my boxes she said not to worry that I had a minimum load and it would still be $1300.  i specifically asked if the semi truck would be picking up my belongings, I was assured it would be.  We even discussed that the truck would be able to maneuver in the complex.  I asked this because I did not want my belongings going to a warehouse and being moved around so much (more opportunity for things to get broken or lost).  On June 27th a small truck came and loaded my stuff.  Then they told me I was over the estimate and it was going to cost me another $1000!  17 more boxes cost $1000!  What could I do at that point?  I had to be out of my apartment by 5:00 pm that day.  Well it is now August 7th and I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY BELONGINGS!  I call and leave messages.  They don't call me back.  They just keep giving excuses for the delays and in the meantime I don't have my stuff!  I worry about what condition it will be in when and if I ever get it!

  13. Scam company.

Victoria told us that priced was based on listed items. We went over the items as to size and total items being moved. She told us if we did not add any more items, that price will not changed. Well, not only did we not add any more items, but we even had less that listed and when movers showed up and looked at items they once again said we will be fine. Once items got uploaded to truck, then they hit us with a bill for $1700 vs. $1000 and said they miscalculated and we had to may the extra. I told them at that time that was a very dirty and unprofessional way to conduct business and asked them to unload my items and requested my $300 deposit back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!

  14. Worst movers in the wild world.

I regret a thousand times having hired the service of these people (Regions Van Lines moving services), the worst experience I may have had moving. First they set up a price, which is not low at the beginning by the way, once they have everything loaded on the truck they come with a different price, higher of course, and at that moment there is nothing you can do, you just can't cancel the contract. When I first did my quote over the phone with the inventory I was moving, we agreed on a price, when the moving truck got to my house, 2 hours delayed, there was some stuff I decided not to take with me, which made my inventory smaller, but still I was using more space than agreed on the contract and thus I had to pay extra big money (wasn’t it supposed to be: fewer things, less space taken, lower price?? I still don’t get that part).Ok, the truck finally left with my furnitures, and one day I received them in my new location; broken heart when I saw my stuff all messed up (see pictures) damage caused by dragging, scratching (aren’t they supposed to treat customer’s merchandise with gentle??) Now I’m trying to claim my damaged stuff and the same person who explained all this to me and charged my card is now transferring me to a nobody-answer phone number and saying there is nothing she can do.

My suggestion, don’t you ever hire Regions Van Lines services, if you want to have your stuff delivered in good conditions.

  15. Cheats & liars.

The phone agent was pleasant and sounded professional. The pickup people arrived  at the Florida home as scheduled on June 29. Packed efficiently and loaded my things. They then added another $!000 to the contract price claiming the quoted volume and price was not valid. We had no choice as to agree to the new price. They had our furniture loaded and we had a plane to catch to get back to Illinois The sales agent promised dedivery within 2 weeks. 2 weeks went by I called and was told 2weeks was from the fisrst day a delivery could be expected (6 days after the pick up date). I was called 2 weeks later saying the dilivery had left the storage warehouse and had a stop in Ohio before making it to Central Illinois. 6 days later I got a call saying they would make the delivery Monday July 21 between 4 & 6 pm. Mind you we had been putting things on hold for weeks not being able to anticipate a delivery time. Releived that we had a commitment of delivery, we made commitments beginning at 6am the next morning. At around 3:30pm the driver called to say they were delayed in Ohio and would be here between 8&10am the next morning. We immediately began trying to reach someone at Regions Van Line to help to see if something could be done to speed up the delivery. Ofcourse we could only get recording and no one would call us back. Several calls to the driver were of no avail. 8:00am passed and the driver would not answer the phone. We did get someone from Regions to answer the phone. They refused to help contact the driver to see where the truck was and what time we could expect delivery. It is now 11am 24 days after pick up and still no sign of the moving Van   .
